Start your Second Life
First things first; do you have a PC than can run MMORPGs (games like World of Warcraft, Aion Online, Perfect World, etc...) ? Second life is a 3D virtual world that requires a fast internet connection and a good video or graphics card.
Once you're sure with your computer and connection, Sign Up to Second Life. Joining Second Life is FREE however a Premium subscription, if you decide to upgrade, will cost 10$ USD per month. Only Premium Subscribers can own a land in Second Life. (you can still rent from land owners if you have the lindens)
Every Premium Subscriber in Second Life gets a weekly salary of a few hundred linden dollars (L$). If you're on a Basic or Free Membership, then you have to work your ass off to make some linden dollars.
You can also work for someone or start your own business to earn Linden dollars or you can buy them at online currency exchanges with real dollars or simply called, LindeX™ (Linden Exchange). This feature is where I make real money from the Linden Dollars that I earn in addition to the Ads.
How do I make money in Second Life? (If not a Premium Member)
There's a quick and yet very rewarding ways of making L$. All you need to do is check the Earn Free Lindens page or even Bookmark it. Right now (April 18, 2010 - 2:30pm) Earn2Life is another alternative way if you'd rather stay in-world and make lindens at the same time.
Other easy way of making Lindens are:
- Camping
- Surveys
- Joining survey groups
- Completing Offers
- Getting a stable Job in Second life
- Be a developer or creator of Content. (goes best with Premium Membership)
- OR blogging and making Linden Dollars through Referrals (like me!)
Business, Business, Business
